I have stayed in the 3 and 2 bedroom suites. Never had issues that were not immediately addressed. Garage is tight, but if you know how to drive then is not a problem even in an SUV. If you can not drive well, then there is a parking lot across the street. Pool gates aren't locked at night, they have a child proof lock on them that must be to much for some adults. House cleaning is full of friendly and courteous workers. It is just off 21st, we walked as a family easily to 17th and got some Ice cream and souvenirs. Atlantic beach is 3 or 4 blocks the other way and has para sailing and snack vendors. Walmart and Krogers are both a short drive away as are the DOT stores. Heated inside pool and lazy river, outdoor pool, and the view is breathtaking. Looks like this year got a fresh coat of paint too. Would be nice to have a bar or Ice cream shop at hotel, but if your there for the beach like me, then this is a very nice place.

Absolutely love, love, love Seaside. We came across them about 3-4 yrs ago on a spontaneous family trip to the beach in late March. We completely fell in love with the place and have returned there every year. Our kids love to sit out on the balcony with us and watch the dolphins jumping and playing around in the water right in front of the hotel close to shore. The rooms themselves are very spacious and comfortable. The parking garage is fine if your driving around in a car and know how to properly drive, but it is a little tight on trucks, long suv's and van's. The only things I would change about it would be after like 7 or 8 pm the pool's, lazyriver and jacuzzi should be adults only and have an age restriction of 21 put in place so the adult that are there for peace, quiet and relaxation can have that and not have to deal with a bunch of kids and teens yelling and running about. But other than that their great.

My sister's family and my family shared the largest condo available. The view was beautiful but that was the only nice part of our stay. Prior to staying, I was so excited and really looking forward to a trendy looking room, which was made to believe from the internet. I was greatly disappointed from the moment we drove in the parking garage. The garage was so tight that I had to turn the corner then reverse just so I can get around the next corner (this had to be done each time I turned corner). The parking spaces were very tight fitting as well. The staff was hardly friendly with the exception of Flo in the breakfast room. She was the only one that greeted us with a warm genuine smile. Our room was dirty and smelled. My husband bought an ice cream cake for me and when I pulled a knife out of the drawer it still had crusted food from the previous occupant. Needless to say, I cut a frozen ice cream cake with a plastic fork and used paper plates and plastic forks to eat the cake. The lazy river was lame and "tweens" used the river to wrestle around and dunk each other. I was very disappointed and don't plan on staying at the Seaside again.

My family booked a Myrtle Beach stay at another location, which turned out to be not what we were hoping for. We called Seaside and within a few minutes they had us taken care of in a beautiful room on their 6th floor overlooking the beach for that very evening plus a few more days. A huge glass wall and a balcony topped off what was already a beautiful 3 BR suite. Everything was exactly how you would expect it. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The beds were more comfortable than I expect from a hotel. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, the refrigerator was clean and cold and every room has it's own wifi router! Granted the speed wasn't super fast, but connecting and using it was a pleasant surprise. The trip from our room to the beach was a breeze compared to some of the other places we've stayed on the beach, and with 5 kids in tow, that's important. The elevators were fast and only crowded on Saturday afternoon when the weekly guests were checking in. The choice of pools and hot tubs meant that the kids were safe and happy in the lazy river while the adults could lounge by the big pool. That was a great treat to not have to feel like you're on lifeguard duty. The pools were all clean and stocked with plenty of towels. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the hotel, it was a 100% win for my family. I can recommend it with no reservations... well, you should make reservations, but you know what I mean.

Came here in the past and this place used to be GREAT! Unfortunately it seems like the management has really let this place go. Pros: Spacious Unit, Ocean Front, price Cons: incompetent staff (receptionist that checked us in was overwhelmed with having to check-in two other parties that were not even present.... She was friendly on the plus side),Carpets need vacuuming, room still had a stench from the previous occupant, pillows in the room (not the bed pillows) need to be washed, surfaces are not wiped down well, exercise room has no trash can, public bathroom downstairs isn't kept clean, very tight garage, etc. It's sad to see Seaside in this condition. I've had many good memories at this place. Farewell Seaside.

We have been staying here the past 3 years for our annual golf trip in March. The condos are great, clean and service is nice. Only gripe is they need a better food service place onsite.

Everyones opinions are different and what they are looking for is not the same. So hear are my Pros and Cons list to simplify- Pros - Great Room Size and view(we had a 3 bedroom). If you are stricktly there for the Beach - great location. The kids loved the pool - small, sometimes sandy, but you are at the beach and that is expected. The continental breakfast was perfect (but they do need another toaster), one 4 slice toaster doesn't cut it when the majority of food needs toasted. They give you tickets for the breakfast which should be eliminated and just have you wear the pool pass tag to show that you are in the hotel. Parking - plenty of spaces, we could always find one, but the garage itself is the tighest place (we were lucky to not encounter another car when we were exiting or entering). CONS - We did not realize there was no restaurant or snack booth at the hotel or near it. (they have vending machines) I read that there were things in walking distance - Nothing is in walking distance w/ a family. You have to drive! There are only 2 elevators which were not Large, so you had to wait alot, especially at check - in. I also did like that you always had to walk through the pool area to get to the beach(otherwise you had to walk around the building), and they need another shower to rinse off (there were 2 one by the entrance to go to the beach and one at the other side of the pool). If you went to the beach at night, there was no way to rinse off since the shower's were in the pool area and they locked the gates at 10:00. Overall we had a nice stay. If we were just about the beach - we would stay there again, but we would prefer a place that has a few things within walking distance.
