This one goes out to Johnny, director of Emerald City Model and Talent. For the past seven years, ECMT has sent me out on countless auditions, presented my headshots to Seattle's leading directors, helped me put together a considerable résumé, and given me the chance to dream the show business dream. Here's to you, Johnny! I just finished the Century Link Stadium Nike shoot with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. With ECMT's help, I've been given the chance to succeed in show business. Make no mistake, this is the toughest business ever ventured; but then, that's exactly what Johnny told me when I started. The day I walked in to ECMT, I had no experience, no headshots, and most importantly, no agent. Walking out of ECMT, I had quality headshots –and, I had an agent. Johnny said a résumé was important, but not necessary to get started. Johnny has a photography studio right there in his office -so, instead of finding, waiting and paying somewhere else, I opted to just pay Johnny. I've paid other photographers over the past 7 years -but, to date, Johnny always takes my best headshot. He knows what the casting directors are looking for -how to stand, smile and pose for the camera. I think that's been a huge advantage -when it's come to getting picked for auditions. Johnny's been in business for over 25 years--Seattle's leading casting directors rely on him, because ECMT has the most talent to choose from. Oftentimes, you won't be selected for an audition; no problem, neither was I. We weren't right for the part and will wait for our next chance. Johnny will tell you, "This is a tough business--if you want to succeed, you'll have to stay in it for the long run." I say, "If we dare dream at all, LET'S DARE TO DREAM BIG!" Here's to you, Johnny--I wouldn't be dreaming this dream without ECMT! Chris LaRue

Emerald City Talent has been great at finding work for its members. They were willing to work with me and found me work quickly. They are great with communication and provided me with descriptive, detailed e-mails and phone calls with all of the information needed for the job. They really set the expectation for each job so I felt comfortable in knowing what exactly I was getting in to with each job. Photographers were legit and provided amazing pictures of me which I thought really showed the best sides of my personality to scouts for potential future gigs. I look forward to and will continue to work with Emerald City Talent for a mutually beneficial future. Thumbs up guys.

Emerald City as been very helpful for me to start my career ! I have been with them for about seven months and I have recevied several jobs. One of the last jobs I did was a national Dr.Pepper commercial with Macklemore! I am very happy to be apart of their agency.

Oops! Posted on the wrong page; well here it is again - Hey everyone! I posted this review on another site...can't remember which one: I had signed up with Emerald City a few weeks ago and enjoyed the process. I have already been booked for several auditions; now it is up to me! I know that Emerald City has my best interest at heart, because we are now tied together in the industry. I did not have to sign an exclusive contract with Emerald City; I like that because the contacts I make through the auditions and work should be my contacts. If Emerald City books a gig, they deserve to their fair share, however. This is great experience and a good way for me to grow in the industry.

I'm delighted to discover this agency really does it's best to work for their talent. After being with the agency only 2 weeks, I was sent out on a hair show audition and was picked from a large group of models for a paying gig. Now, a week later, I'm being called to audition for a character in an upcoming television series because of my profile and specific singing and dancing abilities that the client was asking for. It clearly depends upon what Emerald City's client is in need of when you're being submitted for a gig. Be patient; check your profile on the Emerald City Model & Talent website and make sure your profile is kept up-to-date; keep searching the web for talent calls and let your agent know if there's something you see that might be a good fit for you! They're there to help submit you!

I was with an agency for a year, nothing happened. Was referred to Emerald City by a friend, and within a month of joining I received several auditioning opportunities for promotional modeling and advertisement. Since birth, I have wanted to exercise my talents in the entertainment industry. For a long time I believed it would never be possible, especially after working with this other agency. This gave me an instant foot in the door, allowing opportunities to enter my life that would not have otherwise. I am grateful for the useful advice and services the staff at ECMT have offered me. I may have given up on my dream if it weren't for the individuals at this agency who continually infuse me with confidence and inspiration...

Here is my personal experience: I came into the ECMT offices with no preconceived ideas. I walked through the door with an open mind and my eyes wide open. I, like so many others are always very careful when it comes to these new experiences. I was greeted and had two great conversations with the team (including John). These guys were honest and upfront about everything - a breath of fresh air for me! I found that they really did have my best interest at heart. As we continued our conversations (for 1 1/2 hours - I appreciate giving me this time), I felt that we came away with a clear understanding of what each of us was going to do and the expectations of how it was to be done. Maybe it is my 44 years of experience in various industries; but this team was very clear that they are accountable for my success just as much as I was. You need to approach this like any other business arrangement. Clearly define what the expectations are, what services will be provided and the accountability of each party to the other to co-create the reality so desired.

Emerald city talent is great at getting jobs, I was searching around for different talent agencies and was told about it, I checked out their website and of course asked around, I was convinced to at least go check it out. So I put my information in and they got back with me, I came in for an interview. So they showed me the current jobs they were working on, so I gave it a shot. Within two weeks I was called on a Tuesday and I got selected for a principle part for a speaking part for Taco Del Mar commercial. Afterwards they called me Friday telling me they had ANOTHER part for me in a Muckelshoot Bingo commercial! Two commercials in 1 week! I had a blast on both shoots. From what I saw they have the contacts and are very experienced in the business.
