Hard to believe that in 2012, British local authorities still design and implement these sick jokes.

Great review.
I had the Paper Bicycle on loan from Adeline Adeline in NYC for several months, and have so many things to say about it that it is hard to organise my thoughts. While the unique look is what drew me t...

Bought my bike from here over a year ago. They've got a really nice, eclectic range of bikes, makes a pleasant change from the same-same range you get in most of the big chain shops. I got a Van Nicholas Ventus SE from there, really lovely bike. Enjoyed rising it a lot for a year, then had a problem with the frame. Velorution sorted a replacement for me (VN offer a lifetime warranty on the frame), and swapped over all my bits to the new frame (giving it a full service in the process) all for free. Cycled home, bike feels totally new. Good shop, great bikes, fantastic service. Thanks to Jay for looking after me. Andy

Unfortunately there appears to be little or no communication amongst the staff. I had requested a call back to confirm costs, but heard nothing and no one seamed to concerned how much the repairs would cost except me! On two occasions I arrived to pick up the bike and it wasn't ready, this wouldn't be such a problem but on both occasions I'd traveled a fair distance and taken time out of work to pick it up. A phone call or email to say the repairs have been delayed would of taken best part of 30 seconds and would of saved me allot of time and effort. Nice people, terrible customer communication. Sorry guys, 2 stars!

Very bad experience. I ordered a bike through Cycle to work Scheme. They give me a quote, I place the order and they gave me a 3 week lead. Two weeks after I placed the order, they call me and ask me for an extra £100 because they gave me the wrong quote. The redeem the cycle to work voucher without my permission and on the week I was supposed to receive the bike, they tell me that I had to wait for another 4 weeks. They never offered to honour the initial quote and they never apologised for the delay. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Bad costumer service! Bought a bike there two years ago. Had twice problems with my bycicle since then. They didn't really care about that and don't answer mails. The Bike was nice but the costumer service is disappointing.

2014 -15 i have bought a bike , taken others for servicing and bought other products from them .. found them always to be helpful, kind and curtious and pretty fun if you hang around and talk to them, people can only try , i have experienced nothing negative worthy of comment ... will continue to use them , apparently making a coffee stall for us bike riding folk.. can only be a good thing ... o any one interested in a decent electric bike with a retro minimalistic fixie look .. can recommend a momentum upstart ... had one for a year almost ... no problems so far

Had a puncture emergency, decided to drop it off here to get it sorted and thought I'd get it serviced at the same time, why not right? They 'readjusted' my brakes so I could no longer quick release the wheels (they'd opened the adjusting barrel then tightened up brakes, making it impossible to open the brakes to take the wheel off. Closing the barrels effectively locks up both wheels). Two days later the crank arm came loose while cycling - which hasn't happened in the 10 years I've owned the bike prior to taking it to velorution. I'm not usually one to complain, but I feel like I've been mugged...it wasn't exactly cheap, and they created problems which I had to spend further time sorting out myself. Take your bike elsewhere or do it yourself.

Bought a Brooks saddle here and enjoyed ogling beautiful, custom, and funky bikes. For what it's worth, they have the biggest selection of Brooks saddles here and carry almost every make and model in multiple colors and different rail versions (steel, copper, ti). The staff that helped me out was very friendly and happy to talk all things bicycle with me. Seems to be bit on the pricey side but the gear and bikes they offer for sale are sufficiently upscale as well.

For all manner of two-wheeled delights. I bought a bike from these guys over 5 years ago and returned today to look at a folding bike for the commute. After several test rides around Oxford Circus I ended up riding away with a fabulous Strida. Great shop, very knowledgable staff and one of the finest collections of off-centre bikes in the UK.
