So around the woman's day campaign theme, Shah Rukh Khan declares in an ad (Jaago Re), all my films will have the heroine featured before the male star in the credits. Wondering how does the order really matter? The question really is whether he can / will do one film where the female lead is paid more than him. That script and film could be one small step towards the mindset change... +Shah Rukh Khan

Aurora due to equinox , simply spellbounding!

September's Aurora
Image Credit & Copyright: Fredrick Broms (Northern Lights Photography)

September's equinox arrives tomorrow as the Sun crosses the celestial equator heading south. The event marks the astronomical beginning of spring in the southern hemisphere and autumn in the north. And though the connection is still puzzling, the equinox seasons bring an increase in geomagnetic storms. So as northern nights grow longer, the equinox also heralds the arrival of a good season for aurora hunters. Recorded on September 20, these colorful northern lights were captured with camera and wide-angle lens near the Norwegian Sea coast outside Tromsø in Northern Norway. Shining at altitudes of 100 kilometers or so, the aurora rays are parallel, but perspective makes them appear to radiate from a vanishing point behind the silhouetted pine tree. Stars in this enchanting northern night include Polaris above and right of the tree top, and yellowish giant stars Shedar (Alpha Cassiopiae) to the left and Kochab (Beta Ursae Minoris) to the right. Bright Altair shines through the greenish auroral curtain at the lower left of the scene.

This has cars, trucks, carts, bikes, a railway coach , all part of a private collection converted into a transport museum on the outskirts of Gurgaon! Good starter collection of cars, trucks, jeeps, bikes and the transport history. Loved the Chevrolet, Ford, benz, high power (4000cc+) vintage heavy all metal shiny cars! Also was great to see old Fiat, ambassadors, and a three wheel dolphin car! Neat and clean, well organized into multiple sections with accessibility available at all levels. Has a canteen with snacks, basic food menu - burgers, noodles, canned juices etc. Railways and Air transport can definitely do with more additions. Didn't like the autorikshaw and car art section on top floor, needs re thinking. Bought a couple of cars and a tie from the museum store , but the store could do with lot more additions reflecting the collection! Many of small store items were overpriced and not high quality. Will revisit, would love to show my Dad the Fiat he drove for so many years!

I called disaster management after the recent earthquake tremors in Delhi from the US, 26th Oct 2015. At first no one picked up between 6 and 7 pm, then when the call was received the person did not know how to respond, he tried to pass the call and then it got disconnected.

Heard good things, the service was nice, the place had a cozy feel too. The first slice of the pizza tasted fine till I encountered a burnt crust.. Had a lot of portions of burnt crust ,I did reach towards the closure time, maybe it had something to do with that. Not going back.
