We can argue endlessly about which Hayao Miyazaki film is the best but the simple fact is between what I would consider my favorite (Howl's Moving Castle) and my least favorite - everything he has done is leagues better than pretty much everything else out there.

His ability to tug at heartstrings and create absolutely compelling characters is unparalleled - For me my favorite thing and the favorite is all the incredible female characters that populate every one of his films.

The difference between a Hayao Miyazaki Film and pretty much anything else out there is the Heart that goes into making these!

There is that, but please remember the most important part which made all the Studio Ghibli movies excellent: the skilled (and almost magical) art of story-telling.

Absolutely wonderful Hostel. Came here on a Monday to take part in a Yosemite Adventure trip then spent Friday Night in one of their private rooms. The Vegan Meals I had here were excellent and the place was really clean and nice. The staff here regularly went out of their way to offer advice and were extremely helpful - on the day I left I needed to find a place to get a sandwich and food for my trip home, their recommendation of Molinari's was a Foodies Dream. Am definitely planning on staying here again!

Absolute Foodie Heaven! Was told about this place by the crew at the Green Tortoise Hostel and from the minute I walked in I knew I was in a really special place. Looking forward to the rest of the Yummieness on my Amtrak Ride Home. Absolutely loved the Rice & Meat Ball!
