Google's Android Studio was super annoying to get working on basically a fresh win8 install. I know it's a preview but jeez.
1. Install Java if it's missing. Why make me to to their site?
2. You installed your own version of the android sdk, that's a great move. Why is the default template not directed at it? It defaults to program files\* when you put it in user\*. Ugh.
3. You installed your own version of android sdk, but you don't open the SDK manager and tell it to update itself which is required by Android Studio. Why ship an old version? Or if you have to, make the user update it.
4. Please create a default emulator. It's only a few clicks but would make the experience for new devs way less annoying.
Note - I've done a bit of android dev before, so it didn't shock me but I kind of figured these issues might be why they are creating their own branded IDE.
