When your clothing is dirty, do you throw them away or clean and reuse them? If you clean them you are in a sense recycling them. That's essentially what we do with tree pulp when we clean it and recycle paper to reuse it. When people leave out the "true" cost of pollution & landfills, its easy to make false claims that recycling is Bullshit. For example, when you grow trees for paper, there is an environmental costs. These trees are usually genetically engineered, they take nutrients from the earth and require fertilizers. There is also a big difference between a forest of trees planted for paper harvest and a natural forest of trees,, the supported flora and fauna are not the same!! How do you put a price on that? Just because Recycling has been subsidized in the past doesn't make it a bad thing. Overproduction and wast-fullness requires us to recycle even if we have to subsidize it. Actually if the true cost of production and disposal of materials/waste were factored into our economy, then recycling wouldn't have needed subsides. The two types of people this video convinced recycling was bullshit were people who are not informed of the reality or politically brainwashed viewers! PLEASE DO NOT BASE YOUR RECYCLING DECISIONS ON A BULLSHIT SHOW!! PLEASE RECYCLE!!
