Solid food, lots of choice, at good prices - in a bustling atmosphere.

Went to the weekend tea buffet - was quite pleasantly surprised, both by the range and quality of the food, and by the environment and staff. They offer a discount if you follow them on Facebook or Instagram which makes it pretty good value for money.

Slightly dated - and of course, being Japan, small - room, but perfect location for Osaka Station, fairly comfortable bed, friendly desk staff, and reliable Wifi, for a reasonable price.

My parents stayed at the hotel. They said it was comfortable, if slightly dated. Reservations seemed a little disorganised, offering different rooms to my mother and father.

Room is a touch small and a little dated - but the bathroom is relatively large for a Japanese hotel. Location is very convenient for traveling in and out of Osaka/Umeda stations, and there's loads of shopping and eating - high-end as well as local/cheapish - within a few minutes walk. The building is a but of a maze, with the reception on the 8th floor. Staff are pretty helpful, as you'd usually expect in Japan. Little tip - the Hearton Hotel next door are happy for non-guests to use the coin laundry in their basement...
