An old-new system for thieves skills...

Thinking about weapon damages lately, and how to make the dagger a real threat, like it can be in real life.

I'm thinking, if you have a dagger in hand, and you have surprise or if you have initiative on the first round of combat, if you hit with the dagger, you do double damage, as you are able to get in and tab into the "sweet spot."

This does not work for other weapons as they are not designed for attacking the "sweet spot."

If you are a thief, you get to multiply the doubled damage by your backstab rate.

So if you get surprise AND get initiative on the first round of combat, you can get some serious stabbity-stab attacks in before the opponent can even act...
