I overcame my fear of flying! Woo hoo! Did a lot of exposure work leading up to it. Lots of gratitude, lots of tears, lots of relief... http://panicfreeme.com/7522/facing-anxiety/

If you get quiet enough, sometimes you get certain insights that can only be described as grace. These insights can help to make life better for us. Today I want to talk about how I am using the Law of Attraction to heal myself of anxiety. My hope is this will inspire you to do the same! :)

It took a few hours last Sunday to get out of my funk and nervousness. I did what I always do when the fear and dread overtake me: I sat with the pain, I got myself moving a little (to counteract the early morning cortisol in my body), and I did my very best to keep my attention laser focused on what was going on in the present.
And once the pain was gone I felt such relief. I was so grateful and happy, I could have cried. I felt safe and at home in my self once again:http://panicfreeme.com/7490/how-the-mind-twists-reality/

Jelly legs will still get you there. Go out and do the thing you fear. The adrenaline comes in a wave and has to die down. You can do it. Be hopeful. Anchor yourself in your breathing. God bless.

If you're struggling today, remember this word: temporary.

I woke up feeling anxious, but was able to turn it around by early afternoon. So grateful. Finding a lot of comfort from A Course in Miracles prayers today too:

Every time we choose love instead of fear we win. Repeat this prayer- anytime, anywhere - for instant peace:

I must have decided wrongly,
because I am not at peace.
I made the decision myself,
but I can also decide otherwise.
I want to decide otherwise,
because I want to be at peace.
I do not feel guilty, because the Holy Spirit
will undo all the consequences
of my wrong decision if I will let Him.
I choose to let Him, by allowing Him
to decide for God for me.

Travel light in your day! Stay in the present. Worry about the future robs you of peace today.

I love this picture. I have had this experience of flying-- absolute peace and calm. I have also had the exact opposite experience- panic and claustrophobia on airplanes. It all depends on how well I prepare beforehand and can anchor myself in the present. How are you with flying?

We went out of town last weekend to spend Easter with my parents and sister, and I was stressed out and worried before the trip. This was the first time our whole family has made the trip since before the mess of last summer.
I was worried about everything- the car ride, how I would act, how he would act, if I could hold it together, etc. By doing my best to stay peaceful & mindful I was able to get out of my negative thinking. Here's how it went: http://panicfreeme.com/7463/stop-worry/
