Came in with family tonight and we had a little one with us. The hostess was less the accommodating putting us at a high top table with a high chair that was not going to work. Immediately staff and manager recognized the issue and moved us to area with regular tables and our own space. This meant a lot to us as we have traveled from different parts of the country to spend a weekend together. The food was amazing and the whiskey recommendation was on point. I look forward to the next time I'm in Kansas city and can visit this place.

The atmospher was great however. The batter on the fish was not fully cooked and there was no real "crunch" to the fish and chips. Our server responded to simple requests in a snippy kirt manner. Would like to say Id go back but that's doubtful.

The food is really good, and the decor definitely fits the pub theme (in a good way). Service was also good both times that I was here. I was a fan of the fish and chips, the bread pudding, and the spice cake.

Glad to hear you enjoyed everything so much, Chris! Great choice on the spice cake, by the way. We hope to see you again soon. -The Dubliner KC Team

Great Irish pub experience. Not the most authentic in the world, but the food is good, the atmosphere is comfortable, and they have plenty of beer and whiskey available.

Amazing, authentic Irish food. Their Shepherd's pie, corned beef & cabbage, and bangers and mash are delicious and so much fun to enjoy in their pub. They go big in creating that pub feel with lots of wood paneling and a deliver a cozy atmosphere. Great both in Summer and winter. I bring friends here from out of town & they are always impressed. (Even my Irish friends love it!)

We had a great time. The waitress was very helpful. It was comfortable, cool, pretty. The prices were decent. My husband's bread on his sandwich was tough, but the sandwich was good. The shepherd's pie and potato soup were plentiful. All in all a win.

I'm giving 2 stars because if you go on a slow night it's not a bad place, but if its crowded the bartenders are easily overwhelmed and rude to customers. If I have to wait 15 minutes (no exaggeration) standing at the bar to place my order, at least be cordial. By the time I made it up to the bar and the witch asked me for my order, I pointed to the couple beside who were standing there first. The bartender said f-ckit, and skipped me and wouldn't come back to me for 5 minutes. My apologies for attempting a little bar etiquette. I've bar tended, and been understaffed, but even in the those moments of being slammed... you are providing a service. If I'm not being rude; don't be rude to me. Its not just the Dubliner. P&L is understaffed and staffed poorly... leading to miserable experiences. SAD

We're really disappointed to read your review, Chanda. You're right: No matter how busy we are, our staff should always be cordial. It sounds like we were having an off night, and we'd love a second chance to show you the kind of service we pride ourselves on. -The Dubliner KC Team
