In addition to We Like It Here being back on Spotify (yay), Whitecap from Tell Your Friends has been renamed to White Cap (not yay). Why?

Full onyx! Massive respect!
A long way found its end.... well not really but i got closer. After the EXO5 Anomaly in taipei i had around 3k UPCs left for Black. I decided to not push myself but taipei is different. U have uniques around every corner.... 😀
In numbers this means i returned to Berlin with only 1k left.... still a number to go.... but i wanted to get it done within a week. And now here i am..... standing at the famous Potsdamer Platz in Berlin which was once dividing Germany.... today it fulfilled my destiny of all old school Black badges. (no seer, i know...) 😃

5 years has passed to do it and it feels like something in my ingress history i never felt before. In a good way. 😍

The race with +Oliver Rehbein and +Sebastian Carewe is over for now but there are still some badges left to catch up! 🤣

Thx to all Players i met until today on my journey. May it never end!

Unpopular music opinion #475:

Snarky Puppy's height of creativity and musical work was marked by 2014's We Like It Here, with tracks such as Lingus or What About Me. At the same time, it showed the group's future direction: more commercial music, more poppy, easier to listen to, more appealing to a broader audience. This culminated in Culcha Vulcha, with comparatively uncreative, unexperimental, unexciting tracks which relied heavily on simple grooves to be picked up easily but hence to be "used up" just as fast after a few times of listening. While there's nothing wrong with that, it's sad to see them go.

Luckily, they've left us with a plethora of amazing music nonetheless, especially their early, first albums being a truly remarkable musical feat.

The new WhatsApp emojis are actually pretty decent. Way nicer than the iOS 10 emoji set.

RIP Google blobs though :(

Vegan "cheesecake" for my sister's 18th. Made with tofu and mashed pumpkin, topped with fresh blueberries. Chocolate Digestives and almond for the base. Utterly amazing taste!

Recipe (only have it in Polish): http://jadlonomia.com/przepisy/tofurnik-dyniowy-z-kisielem-zurawinowym/

So fun. 12/8 groove interlaced with some 11/8 bridges. Great stuff. Also harmonically very interesting.

Am I supposed to feel old now? 😁
Listened to Jazz Metal (that's a genre?) the most, although, as mentioned previously, I don't think genres are any good for trying to classify music.

Incredibly intelligent progressive rock/metal by Caligula's Horse from Australia. This track is maybe their most poppy track from their album "Bloom" (youtube.com/watch?v=PoIOobEZ_P4), but fantastically fun.
