While not much can be said for many of the actual men in my life, here are some who have profoundly influenced the way I see the world today. I would add to that list a couple special teachers: Mr. Hancock, who expanded my mind through music, and Mr. Murray, who taught me the importance of asking why.

Introduction
I am a classically trained musician who is working to pursue a degree in neuroscience.  It is no small task, but I have found something that fascinates me, excites me, inspires me, and makes life worth living... I'd be a fool to settle for anything else.

“I think the trouble with being a critical thinker or an atheist, or a humanist is that you’re right. And it’s quite hard being right in the face of people who are wrong without sounding like a fuckwit. People go “Do you think the vast majority of the world is wrong?”, well yes, I don’t know how to say that nicely, but yes.”
