Historian and cultural anthropologist with a deep interest in historical preservation and urban design, historiography, and folk tradition.

Working as an educator for a refugee resettlement agency.

I have fondness of historical and pop ephemera, a collector of MAD Magazines of decades past, a frequenter of flea markets and junk shops. An avid gardner when not in drought, a rider of bicycles, a brewer of beer (always all grain), a subscriber of Magazines.

I'm a fan of WFMU radio, reading Richard Hofstadter, Lionel Trilling, Jaques Barzun, and all those other intellectual greats that came out of Columbia University. I'm also a fan of Alan Watts, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Alvin Toffler, Buckminster Fuller, Robert Anton Wilson, Edward Abbey, Timothy Leary and many other kooks, cranks, thinkers, scribbler, and tinkerers.
