I'm inclined to doubt it. I think it's too little and too late for GNOME. What do you think?

Back in 2001 when I started Unix shell scripting / network programming on Redhat 7.1, I felt uneasy using Gnome... I always preferred KDE.... have used Enlightenment desktop environment on Redhat 7.2 as well .... it was cool .... but not Gnome ....26 Nov 2012
LXDE does things, and I do not see any reason to spend my energy and processor's time to move through inflated bubbles.

I really don't know any reason why people who liked old GNOME would not move to XFCE. As for me, I always liked KDE so no matter what fixing they do to GNOME I doubt I would leave KDE for GNOME.26 Nov 2012
+Frank Wilcox The point i was trying to make was that Gnome-shell is not in anyway similar with ModernUI. To my understanding they took some ideas out of Maemo. Which is a good thing. ModernUI is pretty much a complete different thing. Except for the hot corner...26 Nov 2012
