I understand "Marriage Equality" is a legal issue because our government decided at some point to make laws defining "Marriage".  It's hard for me to take a legal stance on an issue that, IMHO, ought not be a matter of Law.  The real issue is "The Law" should not be making such distinctions.  In the United States we supposedly have separation of church and state.  In my experience, the only opposition to same-sex marriage has been A) religious debate and B) individual choice.   Could someone explain why this ought be a matter of Law?

For the same reason allowing interracial marriages was a matter of law, ending segregation laws were a matter of law, giving non-whites and women the right to vote was a matter of law, giving slaves their person hood and freedom was a matter of law. Allowing freedom of and from religion was a matter of law. Hell the reason why any right was a matter of law. Because peeps gonna hate, and they will try to justify that hate with normalcy, rules and laws to allow them to continue hating. Until enough people rise up to overcome that hate and overturn those laws or write new ones to circumvent them.

There should really only be two laws: 1. Don't hate. 2. Mind your business.

OLD SCHOOL: Slick Rick & Doug E. Fresh - La Di Da Di (Full Version)

This was the first "Rap" song that all the non-afro-american folks in my middle-school LOVED.  THEY KNEW EVERY WORD!! HAahhahahah

I love it.  A blast from the past!
