I've been taking classes at Casa Ritmo since summer of 2012. I've had a wonderful experience since signing up. The classes are challenging, but also very fun. I've seen amazing results as well--over 20 pounds lost! :) I feel very motivated everytime I go there and I actually look forward to working out. I've been to multiple instructors' classes and have enjoyed all of them. I would highly recommend Casa Ritmo!

Casa Ritmo is a good place to learn how to dance. I have been to several studios in San Antonio who offer salsa classes. Some studios did an okay job teaching salsa and bachata classes. Some studio salsa lessons did not work well for me. I would rate Casa Ritmo as one of the top two salsa studios in San Antonio. Melissa is a very nice and down to earth instructor. It takes a lot of courage to walk into any dance studio. Melissa is warm and friendly. She truly does want you to learn how to salsa dance and be great at it. I have not attended her classes in a long time. My work schedule does not work out well for me. When I was Melissa's student, she would invite us to go to Arjons after class to practice salsa dancing on Thursdays. You will not find many salsa instructors who will invite you to a club and give you advice on how to become a better dancer. I once bought a coupon for Melissa studio. The coupon had a mistake on it and I asked Melissa if I could use it for a different class. She was kind enough to let me use the coupon for a class that it was not meant for. She could have told me no, but was nice and said yes. Melissa now offers a salsa dance practice on saturdays for $5. I do plan to go to the studio and get some practice. If you want to learn salsa dancing, you will get your moneys worth from Casa Ritmo. Melissa will not rip you off. She is a good instructor. The most important aspect of learning to dance is the instructor. You may have to jump from studio to studio to find the perfect instructor for you. Melissa is a great dancer and a good instructor. I rate her studio as one of the top two salsa studios in San Antonio, Texas.

The instructors are VERY friendly and helpful. The salsa classes have syllables but if and extra class is needed to perfect a move, they are flexible (at least in the upper levels). The Zumba is definitely a work out! Different instructors have different styles so there's something for everyone. Close group instructors often meet up with students at Arjon's to practice and have a good time in a social setting. Casa Ritmo is a large studio with two floors (although second is currently under renovation, don't worry it doesn't look like a construction zone though) they also have a great kids room with toys and movies. I love everything about it :D

LOVED Casa Ritmo!! I found out about it because I bought the Groupon and when I went, felt very welcomed! I think I went to every instructor and they were all great! They all showed passion, excitement and energy! They were all very nice and even if you didn't know the steps, they made you feel as if you were doing a GREAT job! I don't understand why someone would write a bad review about this place. Overall, it is a great place to exercise and have fun! They should open one out near the Schertz- Cibolo area :-)

I LOVE this Zumba studio! I feel like I am going to hang out with my girlfriends while working out! For a person who is not a dancer and get bored while working out on a normal basis, I can tell you that this studio is awesome. Everyone is down to earth and very friendly. Its not competitive either; everyone is there to have a good time. And leaving drenched in sweat is a great feeling, too. Come try it out! You will fall in love!

I originally tried Casaritmo because of a Groupon I purchased. That was an absolutely brilliant way to get people in because once you come to one of the classes you are hooked. I have tried classes with several different instructors and they all have their own style and intensity level. You will find a low impact beginners class all the way up to a fast paced super high calorie burning workout. You don’t have to be a dancer or even coordinated to have fun, just keep moving and you are getting a great workout. The atmosphere is very welcoming and so are the other students in the class. A word of caution…if you try it you might not be able to stop. The workouts are very addicting.
