Just got a package delivered to my door. It has a neon-yellow label on it saying "HEAVY: LIFT WITH CARE." That's very considerate, Amazon. But...I still didn't notice it until after I'd tried to pick it up and realized it was a surprisingly heavy box.
So, a 3-bedroom apartment has finally become available. BUT it's upstairs and facing a busy street, which would mean I kill myself lugging baby & gear up and down stairs (with my treacherous knees, no less) and we never get to open our windows (if we want to hear ourselves think, anyway). Is the extra space worth it?
I would say no, especially until your little one is mobile and maybe needs a bit more space or you do to keep them from getting into things. Wait for a downstairs! Stairs are killer when you have a little one to haul up and down.
