Really friendly and helpful guys- the exact opposite of the cycle workshops I've used in the past. They gave me a rough idea of the timescale and price before they started, rang me to let me know how they were getting on, and only did the work I asked them to do. After years of putting up with expensive, patronising bike shops who made me feel that me and my bike weren't worthy of their time, this place is a breath of fresh air. Can't recommend them enough!

Dropping in my beloved daily commuter steed to Lunar Cycles and hey presto a couple of hours later a better than new bike emerges from the ashes ! Fantastic service from Henri and Adam as always - local bike shop with impeccable skills !

Very friendly and helpful. Clearly explain what the problems are and what options you have, from the bare minimum to the best practice with no pressure, judgement or snobbery from them. Also doing a quick check-up of your bike as they go along and highlight things to keep an eye on. Brilliant opening hours for commuters and also located near some great pubs.

A brilliant bike shop with a great atmosphere. The staff were concerned and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. Their mechanics went above and beyond to fix my Shimano geared hub. One sacrificed his own hub to provide a replacement part because Shimano and Madison are awful. Their loaner-bike scheme is fantastic, meant I didn't have to put up with tubes and buses whilst my bike was being fixed.

Friendly service, good advice, and my bike is in great condition now! I am new to cycling and found the staff at Lunar Cycles to be really helpful in explaining what they were doing and why, and how to maintain my bike. Far from trying to persuade me to spend money, they were really helpful in keeping the costs down. I think bike shops can be a bit forbidding and unfriendly for novice cyclists, so I would really recommend this place. Thank you!
