Fire Crews Fight West Bibb County Forest Fire - The Georgia Forestry Commission continues to fight a forest fire in west Bibb County. Man gets 5 years in investment fraud scheme - ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — A judge has sentenced a man accused of running an investment fraud scheme that lost millions in investor dollars to serve five years in federal prison. Gregory Crabtree of Proctorville, Ohio, was sentenced Tuesday in Athens. Crabtree had pleaded guilty to a single conspiracy charge in April.
