Paul, a late arrival to the team of Apostles, also claimed to be qualified as an eyewitness. Was his claim legitimate? I recently received this question from a friend related to the eyewitness status of the Paul, because a strict reading of two passages describing Paul’s experience with Jesus on the road to Damascus might lead one to think Paul never actually saw Jesus at all

In this episode of the Cold-Case Christianity Broadcast, J. Warner Wallace examines the classic problem of evil and offers a cumulative case response. In this second of several related broadcasts, J. Warner examines the roles that love and character development play in helping understand why an all-powerful, all-loving God would allow evil to exist in the universe. For more information about the cumulative case for the existence of God and the problem of evil, see J. Warner’s latest book, God’s Crime Scene.

I’ve been involved in many criminal trials over the years where the defense attorneys didn’t call a single witness to the stand. Instead, they chose to vigorously cross-examine the witnesses offered by the prosecution. This is certainly a valid approach to defeating the prosecution’s case, but it can also reveal the weakness of their argument.

J. Warner is an amazing thinker. He's shown me in less than  60 seconds how to make the pieces of the puzzles fit together-something which my postgraduate professors did not do. In fact, their goal was to pull all the parts apart. Result- confusion..Perhaps we enjoy separating things by nature, Take the 6 or 7 pieces which woudl account for an occurrence to take place. Trying to resolve the dilemma individually has us in circles. Once we see how the parts fit together synchronistically it becomes clear. A world where love is possible is still a positive, despite all the evil which does exist.

J. Warner Wallace, author of God’s Crime Scene, discusses the nature of the universe and the evidence for God’s existence. The universe appears to be uniquely fine-tuned for the existence of life. From the incredible calibration of the universal constants, to the nature of the galaxies, to the unique attributes of our planet, the universe had to be “just so” in order for life to emerge on earth. Why is this the case? Does the appearance of fine-tuning most reasonably indicate the existence of a Fine-Tuner? Can fine-tuning be explained from “inside the room” of the natural universe, or does the best explanation for the design of the universe lie “outside the room”? For more information about this “inside” or “outside the room” approach to the evidence in the universe, refer to J. Warner’s book, God’s Crime Scene.

There are several common characteristics of successful conspiracies, and I don’t find any of these attributes were present in the first century for those who claimed to be witnesses of Jesus life, ministry, and resurrection.

An argument for theism based on the existence of our caused, limited universe. We take the first step toward Christian Theism by using a wallet and a dollar to illustrate the point. Can naturalism account for the sudden appearance of space, time and matter? Why must we stay inside the natural environment when the evidence here does not provide us with any answers?

Why are we so reluctant to articulate the power of unity as an evidence? Maybe it’s because so many of us are too busy finding reasons to disagree with (and divide from) our brothers and sisters in Christ. I know I have been guilty of this. While there are many essential Christian doctrines that unify us, I have sometimes chosen (in arrogance) to divide over non-essential personal preferences. Have you ever done that?

Why the Hearsay Rule Shouldn’t Apply to the Gospels

There’s a big difference between evaluating witnesses for the purpose of a criminal trial and evaluating witnesses for the purpose of establishing a chronological truth:
