New nova in Delphinus! Not naked eye presently. But should be binoc or telescopic object easily from the city.

All is quiet presently. Storms to our west are behind the boundary, so are on top of cooler air and therefore weakening. However, note the line in the image below that extends from Lipan, through Weatherford, and Springtown up to Decatur. This is an outflow boundary and will serve as the focus for storm initiation in the next couple of hours.

The potential for severe weather remains. Please remain hyper-aware!

Comet PanSTARRS will be visible after sunset for the next several days. Make sure you have a clear view to the west 30 to 45 minutes after sunset and take a look.

Severe weather season is about to start in North Texas. Increase your awareness and family's safety by purchasing a weather radio. I suggest http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00176T9OY/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1361029874&sr=8-1&pi=SL75

Those thumbnail-sized flakes have a storage density of up to 160 terabytes per kilogram, which means a FedEx fleet loaded with MicroSD cards could transfer about 177 petabits per second, or two zettabytes per day—a thousand times the internet’s current traffic level.
New: @whatifnumbers, a Twitter feed of numbers I find while answering questions. Prev · FedEx Bandwidth. When - if ever - will the bandwidth of the Internet surpass that of FedEx? —Johan Öbrink. Never...
