Die Hard exists in a land of nostalgia and fan reverence for most fans of action films, which can make it hard to look at objectively. The value of this video, where Bob Chipman spends an epic 30...

There's a million different knots for doing a million different things. But, these five are easy-to-learn, easy-to-tie and accomplish 99 percent of the jobs you'll ever need a rope to do. Anyone can make these, here's how.

Here are 9 rules about basic photography composition from famed photographer Steve McCurry that will instantly make your pictures look better. You know some of them already--rule of thirds, etc.--but it's nice to see them illustrated with great pictures and be reminded of the most important rule of all: that you can--and should--break them.

Dairy farmers routinely feed their cows a finger-sized magnet, which settles in the digestive tract to help keep the cows healthy. Wait what? This is no bizarre homeopathy, but rather a legitimate treatment for a stomach-churning ailment called "hardware disease."

In serious emergencies, blood loss can be a rapid and unstoppable cause of death. Now, a team of researchers has developed an injectable enzyme that can stop wounds from bleeding. Could this be bye bye, Band-Aid?

Why?
Google is splitting Google+ up. In a post on Google+ today, Bradley Horowitz, an existing Google VP of product, announced that he'd taken over responsibilities for the service, which will now be split into new services called Photos and Streams.

Fracking might do more than pollute drinking water and create earthquakes. It might give you cancer now.
Indoor radon levels in Pennsylvania have been slowly rising since 2004, around the time that unconventional natural gas development using hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”) began in the state. In our new study published in Environmental Health Perspectives, we found three pieces of evidence that there may be a link between unconventional natural gas development and indoor radon levels across the state.

There are several El Tequila's around, but this is the flagship El Tequila restaurant now. The food is great/inexpensive. If you don't get full here, something is wrong with you. The service is fast and friendly. I think I saw one waiter carry 8 or 9 plates of food on one arm! The parking lot is ALWAYS full--there is hardly ever a wait to get in--which should tell you that the food is good.
