Seems Waterstone bookshops are trying (unlike some retailers in other sectors) to adapt to the roll-out of digital services. Still disliking the prevalence of DRM on ebooks, but having more sales streams is a good thing (especially on the high-street).

CCP definitely have a sense of humour and some idea of what is going on with Diablo :) - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3049468/2012.05.16.17.34.21.jpg

So, Macmillan have announced the experimental removal of DRM from their TOR and Forge imprints which has the potential to lead the way for development of the eBook market. Charles Stross published an article on his blog about this on Tuesday giving the information (and his opinion) that he expressed to Macmillan on request on this issue before they made their decision. It is important to note that he doesn't claim they made their choice because of it (they were already discussing this), but it does make interesting reading and gives a lot of good reasons why it is potentially a very good move.
