Our greatest gift is our curiosity.

Digging and asking questions help you understand your client but also helps them understand themselves.

When we assume we put an obstacle in the path of our understanding.

We all make assumptions ... but instead of not saying it or a statement ... make it a question.

What do you do to stay curious and interested in life?

Love this quote by Einstein.

Thank you to Calm for this Daily Calm.

DAY 3: The 3 keys to claiming your power in business

We are all masters at what we do and how we do it … and yesterday (Day 2) was a post about the 3 things that stop us. Today I would like to flip that on it’s head and look at the 3 keys to claiming your power in business.

drum roll

1. Be yourself and claim your personal power
2. Get clear on your value and the difference you make to others
3. Give yourself permission to tell your story and ask for what you want

I know when I read these I think --- of course! But I also know that it isn’t actually that easy to DO this.

That’s why over the next 11 days I will be expanding on each of these. Giving you key insights and activities that will help you DO this for yourself – so stay tuned.

But for today … I would love to know … which one of these is your favourite, or easiest and which one is the scariest for you.
Thank you for joining me this far and I look forward to the rest of the series.

DAY 2: 3 Key Mistakes Women Make with Selling

I would love to know... which of these mistakes do you see most often, and how do they play out for you.

Mistake One: They doubt themselves
The first one is often women suffer from the impostor syndrome. We feel like our qualifications or our gifts are not enough.
This can show itself in not going for that client until we have ALL our materials together or piece of paper that shows that we are qualified.
We have ALL felt this way. I am a confident person - but there are times when I feel like I don't know or am not enough. For me this plays out in trying to explain TOO MUCH to people why they should buy from me. I over compensate.
Whatever it is for you ... I want you to know two things.
1. You are enough
2. Get out there and connect and be yourself and be open

Mistake Two: They don’t understand their value
This is related to the first, but we often downplay or simply don't appreciate the value that we give to others in our businesses.
I see this in my coaching as people not charging the right amount for the value they provide, or letting themselves give too much away to their clients.
When we really understand our value ... then we on our power as we can use this understanding to help others understand our value too.

Mistake Three: They don’t speak up & ask for what they want
How many times have you kicked yourself (not literally) for not asking or speaking up and offering to help someone. As women we are taught from a young age to wait to be asked.
This means that we are left waiting as our opportunities walk on by.

Over these 14 days to MEpowered Selling I am going to show you how to dispel these mistakes and help you claim your power.
