In 10 days I am headed back to the Circle. I go there to see what our future is. I'll be in China for two weeks. May 30, 31 I'll be hiking some parts of the Great Wall that I haven't seen. I could use a hiking partner who speaks better Mandarin than me.

I'm not a birder but this video could turn me into one....well, except that it took 10 years to get these pictures.  (If your not sure, this Birds-of-Paradise Project link goes to a particularly stunning section towards the end of the video; if you like it, don't forget to watch it from the beginning.)  These are the strangest birds you'll ever see.

Where's the animal in this picture?

We often think of smaller creatures being the best at camouflage. But is it possible for an animal that averages 16 feet tall or more to hide in plain site? This image seems to say yes.
