GDG DevFests is one of the largest, community-run events that offer speaker sessions across multiple product areas, all-day hackathons, code labs, and lots more. It is inspired and uniquely tailored to meet the needs of the developer community that hosts it. It is usually powered by a shared belief that when developers come together to exchange ideas, amazing things can happen. This year, GDG North West DevFest promises to be an event to remember. It aims to share experiences and gain new knowledge.

We can now quickly preview images, video and audio files with 1-click in the Files App thanks to the brand new "Quick View" feature in the latest Chrome OS Dev update.

Select a file and simply press the <Space> key to trigger it. You'll see a preview of the file and some general information on a right side pane such as the resolution for an image.

Note that this features only works in the Downloads root folder for now.
