As a farewell gift to a friend, I agreed to high tea at the Taj on a Saturday afternoon. Unladylike as I am, I enjoyed the tiny treats and elegant table service in a beautifully posh setting. At $34/pp for tea and pastries however, I’m sad to say I had to buy lunch a few hours later.

It was our anniversary and they gave us an up grade to a better room. Had breakfast at the hotel and is was good. The staff was very helpful and informative.

The worst travel experience ever. Starts with bed smell in the hallways. Continues with slow, almost clogged drains, broken toilet. Reported problems to the front desk, nothing happened. The real "masterpiece" was blowing fan instead of the air conditioner in the restaurant. And that was on the top of the waiters bad attitude, whose vest had stains all over.

I came here specifically because I know the Taj brand from India. Hotel was awesome great staff however the cafe restaurant service was not great until a senior member noticed I wasn't happy and gave me more service and fixed issues - that's all that matters! Knowing Indian food I wouldn't say the Biryani was authentic. All in all a true Star hotel and the service is exquisite! Seriously the staff cares a lot.. And every detail is very well taken care off.

I asked the bell boy to get me a hooker and he never came back. I saw him in the lobby during check out and confronted him in front of his boss and the man in charge stated "Sir, we don't do that type of thing here." This is where I got angry. At more then 200 dollars a night you would expect the staff be less reluctant to fulfill guest basic needs and sexual fantasies. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the shower was very clean.

We spent a wonderful night at the Taj. The rooms are so clean and amazingly quiet for such a busy hotel. The lobby is a bit dated and the lounge really needs to be clean, but the service was impeccable.

The hotel was beautiful, friendly staff. The rooms were so clean, even had my own slippers! I loved every minute of this experience

Ideal location and upscale hotel. Pets allowed would not be my normal preference. I think because of the pets, along with general aging, the carpeting is in need of replacement. My room had a body odor smell to it, something like mold and sweat.
