Comments from fellow Coursera students and productivity geeks well appreciated!

I had to read an 18 page paper by Eric Winfrey on DNA being used to construct logical gates. And I wanted to have fun while doing it. So, I tried to make a simple game out of a few tools that I had. Here were the objectives:

I want to read a research paper and actually enjoy it.
But while doing it I want to concentrate on it rather than daydreaming and losing myself in unstructured thoughts.
I don't want the problems of ineffective note taking. And if questions arise, I want to jot them down systematically.
I heavily dislike reading on the computer screen.
