Android Design Support Library brings a number of material design components that are compatiable with all Android 2.1 or higher devices. The new componenets are navigation view view, TextInputLayout for floating labels for editing text, a floating action button, snackbar, tabs, coordinatorLayout, AppBarLayout & Collapsing Toolbars. TextInputLayout is a new layout for EditText view (Android Support Library, revision 22.2.0). TextInputLayout shows EditText hint as floating labels when the hint is hidden due to the user inputting text. Also supports showing an error.
