Hum.  When can I have my unified Facebook, G+, and RSS reader?   With all the less-of-this/more-of-that tuning controls that I need?

In other news, should I set up an Indigo group/page to parallel the one over on FB, collecting people together for a reunion next year?

AMERICANS ABROAD: the bureaucrats are about to greatly hamper your ability to return to the US with your family. Anybody good with action campaigns? DA's notifying, but not helping much with contacting consulates/senators/congress

+Amy Winarske tbh, from where I'm standing I'm not sure anyplace is ever really that much "better" -- some places are a little more sanely managed, but most of the ones I can think of are really cold! :-) I'm not one to preach about standing your ground and trying to improve a place, instead of fleeing it -- but I think there's something to it.

If you agree that it'd be very nice to have a "Limbo" or Purgatory circle, that contains people who you don't think you know, even though Google+ is suggesting that you might... but doesn't notify them that you've put them in a circle... and isn't a "Block"... please pile on to this post I've just put in the discussion group. Thanks!

I can, but then 600 people who I don't think I know will be notified that I have added them -- and probably 500 will, like me, go "huh, do I know this guy?" Also I'll have to create a new "*actual* stream" circle as my main stream will now be filled with people whose public thoughts I don't necessarily care to read.

I really need to stop finishing the homework just before the deadline... especially as it's 5.30am here.  This still needs a lot of polish -- and probably a new name, but for now, it's done.

What's Elmo's favorite food? I wasn't expecting his answer either, but his explanation is priceless.

My creative, thoughtful, and playful friends at Kidding Ensemble have just launched their fundit entry for a show about an Inventor Clown in a nowhere land surrounded by old parts -- perhaps a dreamworld to some I know :-) Please consider giving them a sheckle or two to make this production real!

Hm, can you add circles to circles? Not the contents, the circles themselves -- so that I can keep you all in nice categories but have easy roll-up ones as well. #demanding #complicating

+Teri Bidwell it will, but then if I add someone to A, they will not automatically be added to A+B...

i'm always there for the 3fe coffee, which itself would get all 'excellents' for lovely staff and a beautiful product; however i've also recently enough been there for a very late night gig. the crowd were all younger, but eclectic, open, and with a distinct and refreshing lack of aggro or sleaze. the bar staff were slammed but still polite and even outgoing.

one of my favorite places. it can be a bit 'rustic' in corners, but you can feel proper history and atmosphere here -- not something out of a can or a warehouse. even when it's crowded, you can carry on a conversation, or strike one up. the staff are businesslike but friendly, and part of what make the place an institution.

another 'for the tourists' place -- but warm, nice enough to be in, and decent pints.

a constant hangout. wonderful selection of beer and whiskey, and excellent food. the staff are friendly and very enthusiastic about beer, whiskey, and grub -- and if not incredibly busy, very happy to talk to you about it. a great space that they've developed personally, not slapped together with the help of a random builder -- and it feels that way.

used to go a fair amount as it's close to home and has a late bar. however, the patrons got rougher & rougher, and the selection and quality of pints worth. will occasionally wander in for one last pint, but stay well away from the guinness.

another institution -- someplace you feel welcome, where you can mix with people who have been drinking there for years, or just since yesterday. old pub decor, but always with new art. great staff -- i think the place is family-run, or at least feels that way.
