Hey everyone!  I've been the school librarian at Westborough High School for the past 4 years. I've also worked in elementary, middle and public libraries.  My interests are wide and varied but I am passionate about raising awareness for libraries and bringing as many teens along as possible - by empowering them to believe that libraries are one of their fundamental rights.  Creating community is my passion whether through collaboration with other educators or  students from  "spoken word" to empowerment of disenfranchised populations.  I am excited to be part of this global community.  Thanks to +Robin Cicchetti for the invite!

It’s almost here, fellow teachers.  Like it or not, we will wake up Monday morning much earlier than our summer sleep schedules are accustomed to, and we will walk back into the buildings we simultaneously love and fear. ...

Hello Friends: I am co-leader of a new Poetry Slam Team at Westborough High School. Our team competes next week at Mass Art. The Louder than a Bomb festival is coordinated by the MASS LEAP Collective (Literary Education and Performance), the youth programming arm of the Massachusetts Poetry Outreach Project, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, dedicated to expanding connections between communities throughout our state and increasing opportunities for our youth to empower themselves, develop their craft and connect through the art of performance poetry. If you are able, please help with the fund raising campaign.

"The findings of this study alone should take the decision to cut a librarian off the table. Pennsylvania should serve as an example for all."
