Excellent for wildflower hunting and general hiking. Some litter (glass!) and a rude occupant riding his BMX in the park. The trails/trail map is a little unclear but they are working on that. We got a little lost but that was really just part of the fun. It's a good hike with some big hills and rough terrain. Well worth the drive!

A mix between park and nature trail, this area is a gem in an otherwise unremarkable neighborhood. A very low traveled place in Fort Worth due to lack of expensive amenities that most people expect these days. I rather like that it is a low volume park as I like the serenity of nature and watching my kids play - you get plenty of that here. Update (4/18/15): Not sure whats gone on with this area lately, but homeless seem to be frequently using this park and vandalizing it. A shame as this was a great spot!

If you live near this park, I would highly recommend going there. The trails are nice, lots of good views of Fort Worth, and it makes you feel like you are nowhere near the city.

I heard this place was a diamond in the rough. It is very ROUGH. It's located in an older neighborhood and there is no real parking. You have to park on the side of the street. There were plenty of trails but none of them were marked. We ended up walking into a drainage ditch area besides someone's house and had to walk through the neighborhood to get back to our car. You can tell kids go to this park at night with all the broken glass and trash littering the paths. Not something I really wanted my dog to walk through. I am sure this is a beautiful place in the Spring/ Summer with all the wildflowers. It was just not what I expected a park with trails to be. It was also very loud located next to Hwy 30. Maybe in a few years when they have the funds to clean up the place and mark the paths, this will be a suitable place to walk. In the meantime, it is on the bottom of our list of places to walk in the area. I do hope they are successful with making this a desirable place to visit!
