Got 3 kinds of empanadas 14 Feb 2015, and loved them, esp. the beans, less so the meaty-tasting mushroom kind. Take-out seemed a shame after standing in the inviting space but we had committed to bringing lunch to a friend's house; will try to return and spend some time. The people were very friendly and the decor lovely. Look forward to trying the drinks next time.

Vegan dining without sacrificing the flavor! Whenever I tell someone about this restaurant, I recommend the empanadas: you can't go wrong with the columbian empanada or tofu scramble! I've been a regular here for almost a year and the service here has nothing been short of impeccable. Don't forget to order the coffee!

if was just the food 3 stars but when you factor in the poor service and attitudes of the staff 2 stars at best maybe one, hard to taste the food with the horrid staff

Not a bad place at all! Nice little vegan spot that we passed once and finally was able to try out today. Very friendly staff and something you don't see (if you use Google maps a lot like I do) is that this place is cash ONLY but they do have an ATM on site at least. Definitely recommend the Avocado BLT I'm a meat lover and can even say that was delicious!

I really enjoyed the food here and I will make this a regular place to go to since it is not far from my home. Get the VSpot burrito ( I get mine with spinach but they do have alternatives) and the French fries with the dipping sauce. The person who takes the orders is also very friendly!

I think our experience at V Spot was the best we've had at a New York restaurant. The decor was fine but nothing special. We're not too picky as long as a place is clean and you can tell some effort has been made. Because we're still somewhat new to a plant-based diet, we're still trying to find places we can eat. V Spot will surely be at the top of our list from now on. There were four of us in our party. We each had something different and all of the dishes were excellent. For an appetizer we had the Colombian empanadas. They were amazing. Our server was very friendly and helpful. He was better than most. We'll definitely be back.

I have one of the strictest diets out there. It's called the Swaminarayan Diet. No meat or flesh (fish). No eggs. No onions. No garlic. No scallions. No gelatin. Dairy is ok. And to find a LATIN Vegan spot that can cater to my needs is unheard of. The owner worked with me by going through the entire menu, searching through the dishes and entrees and finding me a meal that I would be able to enjoy without any worries. My experience there was exceptional and they were beyond helpful. You deserve every one of these 5 star V Spot!

Had the vegan BLT wrap with a lemon-ginger &mint drink/ade (meal comes with a side salad). The BLT actually taste like there is bacon in the wrap (actually sauteed mushrooms, I think?), topped off with a bit of avocado, fresh veggies and a nice and creamy white sauce. Wow, it was so delicious. Vegan is delicious! I did not love the kicked up lemonade though, needs more lemon juice in my humble opinion.
