If you missed last night's OSRebellion live stream, here it is... complete with special guest star Judge Evie. The focus of last night's episode was Basic Fantasy RPG and Adventures in the East Mark, and we even had some lively chatting at the end about some other OSR products. All in all I think I'm hitting my stride, and I've really enjoyed the live interaction :)

Thanks everyone who participated!

Calling this the Seven Sided Trophy of Sezrekan. Top prize for this upcoming Friday tourney-funnel with the Norwin Game Knights. We will be playing The Seventh Pit of Sezrekan by +Harley Stroh (from the Goodman Games 2015 Program Guide)

Some may say "but Judge James, Sezrekan is a Wizard, not a Warrior." To those people I say "no one tells Sezrekan how to dress."

Still 2 open seats!

Friday July 28th at 8pm EDT to 11:30pm.
"In Xcrawl, the players are superstar athletes taking their chances in a live-on-pay-per-view death sport. It's a modern-day world with a fantasy twist, and the game is simple. The Dungeon Judge, or DJ, creates an artificial dungeon under controlled - but lethal - conditions. The players go through the dungeon and try to fulfill whatever conditions the DJ puts forth in order to win. Xcrawl is a sportand the challenges are created, but the danger is no less real. If you die, you die!"

I've been watching GLOW and reading a lot of news, so naturally this is what I want to run this month for Lawful Good Gaming!

Xcrawl: Dungeonbattle Brooklyn is a 1st level Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure by Brendan LaSalle. Xcrawl takes place in a parallel dystopian fantasy universe where magic is real, and folks tune in to their televisions to watch their favorite atheletes compete for fabulous prizes. For me it's American Gladiators meets The Running Man meets Final Fantasy.

I can take five players, with the price of admission being a donation (no amount too small) to Conservation International. Players are asked to make a donation directly to the charity, and then provide me with proof of donation via email/screenshot. Players can create their own pre-gen 1st level DCC characters, or generate one using, or I can provide a pre-gen. I'd advise bringing more than one character, just in case! Also, we're going to want a bit of flare with these characters, so think about some kind of schtick. The adventure will be run on Google Hangouts.

So I'll be running The Seventh Pit of Sezrekan as a tourney funnel for our local family gaming event this upcoming Friday (all Pittsburghers here... and their children... welcome). Trying to think up some prizes. Suggestions?
