Todays methane release looks like Earth is headed for P/T type Extinction because the same deep sourced gas charged magma is under weak area.
We caused this event to progress and stopping it looks to be a long shot..

+Dale Lanan there is so much to worry about, Fukishima, nuclear arms etc. etc. but when the Washington Post write we shouldn't worry:  http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2015/03/02/why-you-shouldnt-freak-out-about-those-mysterious-siberian-craters/ there must be some cause for concern!

Sandy came ashore exactly on path predicted 4 days prior, http://arctic-news.blogspot.com/2012/10/hurricane-sandy-moving-inland.html Mankind apparently isn't able to alter course of world to help Earth keep her Open System Sea of Life that holds..

An amazing transfer of heat is going into the Arctic and sea ice is shrinking and getting thinner. Heat is being transferred clear form latitude 20 to 90 North. Check out the maps of wind and heat..
The Arctic sea ice is melting. It is melting far more rapidly than we ever expected. We measure this loss in the form of square kilometers melted, in the form of ice thinned, in the form of new, bl...

No, it's not an ordinary natural cycle. When you observe natural cycle, the increase in CO2 (in ice cores air bubbles for example) are 10-100 time slower.

Kerry makes case to protect the Earth. Unfortunately in my opinion the world of man isn't in business to keep Earth but to make monetary gain.
Amy Goodman does a magnificent job covering issues at COP 20, Lima.
The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Lima, Peru, has entered its final day of scheduled talks. Deep divisions remain between wealthy and developing nations on emission cuts and over how much the world’s largest polluters should help poorer nations address climate change. On Thursday, Secretary of State John Kerry flew into Lima and made an impassioned plea for all nations to work for an ambitious U.N. climate deal next year in Paris. K...

Arctic Methane release locally in Laptev Sea is going strong now and levels aloft are spreading out with altitude. There is real danger of spike.
Methane is erupting in huge amounts from the seafloor of the Arctic Ocean, as illustrated by the image below, showing methane over the East Siberian Arctic Shelf on Octiober 31, 2014. The top image on the right shows methane ...

Dale looked at Johnny and said, I'd been for 2C like making a framework to align world w Earth.
He said, I'd make a terrible soldier under orders.

Knowing where we are physically in our destruction of Earth is key if we ever want to regain margin for error to enjoy freedom and knowledge that at least we made best effort to remedy harm. It's a challenge n+1 in time

It is my hypothesis to theory that both Open and Closed case Thermodynamics can runaway.
Let's choose Life and give saving Earth the n+1 college try.. Open System Engineering remedy.

2nd Law of Thermodynamics states that when a world based on isolation of an Open System dependent planet in hot edge of Habitable Zone for liquid water to exist can't snap Closed System fiat monetary system to value Earth, a lie holds Entropy up

+Dale Lanan Yes Dale, I had understood that. I was only making the point that Earth. the whole planet, is more like a closed system ; that we're all, as in all of Life, in the same Global Galley.

Methane levels at altitude in sky are indicating that Earth is on fast track to extinction level temperatures unless Comprehensive Plan of Action is successfully engaged.. It would be wise to try something.
There is a problem of Corporate control at the basis of world contract law.
Below is a comparison of highest mean methane readings between three years, i.e. 2013, 2014 and 2015, at selected altitudes on March 10. The comparison indicates that the increase of methane in the atmosphere is accelerating,...

Trust me not to be able to do confusion studies backwards; But the strength of Greenhouse is rising in a way that will hit jackpot of CH4 water ice foam crystalline framework acting as Test.

Pace of glacial change looks set to definitely accelerate. It will affect sea level and climate. Increased rain instead of snow rots the strength of ice.
by Veli Albert Kallio The Norwegian Svalbard Islands are located just few hundred miles from the North Pole. It is a unique environment for glaciers: Here glaciers can survive almost at sea level. This means that ice is const...

Evidence of near term extinction for Earth grows stronger and at present, time to get ahead of the curve and regain margin for error in which to work effectively enough to stop the acceleration is opposed by the world.
Ocean Temperature Rise Of all the excess heat that results from people's emissions, 93.4% goes into oceans. Accordingly, the temperature of oceans has risen substantially. NOAA analysis shows that the most recent 12-month per...

Gray areas in coverage of the threat that is going to kill life on Earth.
2562 ppb at approx 1/2 atm altitude as an anomaly is quite a lot and the world news services and NASA aren't exactly in business to keep Earth.
Methane levels as high as 2562 ppb were recorded on October 9, 2014, as illustrated by the image below. Many grey areas show up in the image where QC (quality control) failed, as it was too hard to read methane levels in the...

Global Methane levels are on track to hit 2,000 ppb by 2021 and heat is invading the Arctic Sea region while infrastructure isn't directed to stop acceleration of Earth's overheat. UN Special Conference on Climate must see there is no carbon budget left to emit but rather a debt to draw down.
The World Meteorological Organization’s annual Greenhouse Gas Bulletin shows that between 1990 and 2013 there was a 34% increase in radiative forcing – the warming effect on our climate – because of long-lived greenhouse gase...

Public, world citizenry at large needs to see immediately the danger from increasing CH4 levels in Sky. The satellite technology to best see won't be up till 2019, directory.eoportal.org/web/eoportal/satellite-missions/m/merlin NASA should immediately take action to get public access to back up.
