Gem of a bike shop- friendly, knowledgeable, helpful guys and gals, plus an amazing service they provide. They make my daily commute much happier in a couple different ways.

Very slow (5 people in line took ~15 minutes), fairly cheap, but you get what you pay for- my $9 (+$2 gluten free) lamb pita involved two very thin strips of beef/lamb, industrial-grade tomato and cucumber, and way too much fake tzatziki-type sauce (that was mostly emulsified oil). The cook used his spatula to press down the gluten-free pita onto the grill, so the outside was burned and in the inside was barely warm. The total thing weighed <6oz. Really not impressed. Had to go get other food, because ~450 kcal (as they proudly advertise, should have taken it seriously) will not keep me full. Go here if you're on a diet and have never had even slightly decent falafel/kebab/shawarma.

After reading her reviews, I went to see Dr. Safa Khaleel for an at-long-last general checkup and cleaning (new job in the area). I have very high standards for dentists, and she blew me away. She is incredibly bright, an amazing listener, and really present with my numerous health quirks. Really, I went in incredibly nervous and left totally reassured, and with nice shiny teeth! Her advice is NOT one-size-fits-all...she listens to your lifestyle and your habits, considers, and gives you intelligent suggestions. There was no wait, the appointment was very easy to make...I cannot say enough good things.

Wholly disappointed. Not cheap, not good (drinks OR food), overcrowded, bad distorted music. Avoid. Oh, I forgot. They tried to charge extra hoping we wouldn't notice. We noticed.

First time visit. "Fried bean curd" is no such thing- it is heated, raw tofu in utterly forgettable sauce. Foil-wrapped chicken is flavorful, but the MSG is apparent, and the individual pieces (only six in an order) are about the size of one of a Pink Pearl pencil eraser. Edible, sure, but for $18.25, I certainly won't be back.

Dr. Gilbert is the epitome of a patient's ally. He is compassionate, extremely intelligent, easygoing, and most importantly, knows how to listen. I can't imagine seeing anybody else.

Maybe I'm just spoiled by living in California, but I don't think THAT much. We ordered the Pad Thai and the Tom Yum...and both were honestly the worst Thai food I've had in my life. By a huge margin. I've easily had over 50 pad thais in my life, and this was unambiguously the worst- it tasted like noodles fried in honey and fish sauce. The tom yum had a layer of peppercorn oil floating on top, while the tofu was tasteless, and the sauce worse than from a grocery store container. I have never before simply thrown away food that wasn't great...but we literally just threw out our take-out bag. Ugh. Awful.
