What is the number in the bottom left corner of the Android app mean?

Is that a feedly application? If it is, that count is about how many peoples have saved the article for reading later or starred it.

Does anyone know how to install a font so that the pronunciation of a word in google play books shows up.  All I get are some of the letters and a bunch of squares, as seen in the screen shot.  Thanks!

Those squares represent missing glyphs. The font simply doesn't have those characters in it.

Many font designers still only include the ASCII character set (256 glyphs), but it was especially common in older fonts. The problem is IPA and phonetic characters fall into Unicode glyphs usually, and there's literally thousands of glyphs in Unicode so it's very difficult and time consuming to make a full Unicode font.

So anyway TL;DR is you need another font

The only way to make that font work is to import the missing glyphs from another font yourself.

One of the concepts I really enjoy about both Cortex+ and FFGs Star Wars RPG is the Success and Failure but with some negative or positive consequence respectively.  I've been trying to think of a way to implement that idea in FATE Core, but can't think of anything that works.  I know you can choose to succeed on a failed roll by paying a "cost", but it's not quite the same thing.  Thoughts?

I was testing that idea of using two characteristic green star wars dice and two purple challenge dice and the range of results matches a fudge roll, -4 to +4 with the added benefit of having advantage and threat symbols on them for side descriptions like you want. I was only kidding too but wow! Just an idea!
