I was reminded of how fragile life is today, how it can vanish without warning, between heartbeats. This is part of the human condition, but so too is love. I remind you to tell the people you love and who love you in return that they are cherished. Take a minute and do it today, you may never get the chance again.

I'm sorry for your family's loss, and inspired by the words of a 12-year-old at the same time. The love and support of my family is something I will always be grateful to have.

This concerns me. There are many valid reasons to maintain privacy online. For Google not to be concerned suggests that they no longer consider us, the users of Google+, Gmail, and their search engine as customers. Instead I think they may view us as a commodity to be sold to their true customers, their advertisers...
Amid a furor over Google+'s ban on pseudonymity and anonymity, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt just admitted the company intends to be an 'identity service"

To remove ads from Facebook, most browsers, (IE not included!) use the following addon: FB Purity. (Fluff Busting Purity). In addition, I use Adblock. Again, supports most browsers. For Firefox I had to construct special filters, for Opera the default works fine.
