Overall we will never go there again. The only thing I like about Water Edge was the view of Manhattan where I live. Some friends come from California and we wanted have dinner outside of Manhattan for a change. I guess the restaurant can seat over 100 people. There was only one waiter serving. We had a very difficult understanding him. It felt as if we were in a New York City taxi. The waiter was very pushy and he took drink order for three of five people at the table. Also, he told us we have to order appetizers and main course at the same time. They served my meal and five minutes apart for the other meals. By the time all meals served my meal was cold. He charged us for things we did order. They could be a little more organized and learn the restaurant business. ( serve all drinks, let people order their appetizer first and take a few minutes to order their main course, add more waiters).

This restaurant can be the best restaurant in New York but unfortunately the Ambience and Service can only go so far. This place is completely renovated in the last 3 weeks due to Hurricane Sandy. I ordered the seafood platter, which includes 4 bluepoint oysters, 4 little neck clams, 4 chilled jumbo shrimp, 2 crab claws, and one half lobster. I spoke to the manager Halim because all I was offered was 1/2 a lobster tail, everything else was the same. he wouldn't do anything to correct this and said that is whats meant. There is a difference between half a body part and half of the whole body. Shame on you.

The only reason I did not give this review a 5 is because the restaurant was cold. It could have been heated better. Other than that, the food, service, decor, view of Manhattan, etc is exceptional. I have been here before in both winter and summer and the heat or AC seemed to work fine. I am sure I will go back again but more likely when the weather is not so cold.

Visitied there for dinner,Good location Very clean and comfortable however, the menu was limited! not many choices to choose from & also not many choices of drinks either..the view was ok which is in relation to the environment which outlays the city. However when our food arrived not only did it look as if it was in a canned container it did not taste well, i will ONLY give 3.5 stars for cleanliness and Service.

It was an amazing experience to celebrate my birthday at Water's Edge Restaurant in Queens. We were a large group of almost 30 and they all were served like Kings & Queens. The view is amazing particularly in a clear night like yesterdays. I highly recommend it for anyone to have a classic night out.

Went on restaurant week and the food was okay, I wouldn't pay more than $20 if given the chance to pay as you thought it would be fair. About 13 years ago the food and presentation were excellent, I'm not sure who the chef was at the time but it was something very memorable, went again about 5 years ago and had the same experience as I did just recently, money wasted on bland food. Go there for the view definitely not the food.
