... and how does it compare to FireBug? Or is Mozilla essentially dumping the awesome Firebug?
Yeah, I don't understand why Mozilla are bothering with this when Firebug is So fully functional. Why go up against the best advert for your product?
Just a silly guess: maybe FireBug is a plugin and maybe they want something for people who don't want a plugin.
What kind of person is that? What kind of web developer doesn't want a plug in developed by web developers for web developers? I mean, I'm sure they exist - everyone exists - but I'm struggling to figure out a mindset standard enough to be worth this level of resource. Especially when they have a mobile app out there that still doesn't really work.
I'll have to give it a try, Firebug does the regardless.
