With its distinctive, if hard to read from 100m, yellow and orange skin, this is the real deal when it comes to grilled cheese. Variety of more avante garde options, from mac and cheese (that's a lot of starch) to ribs (now that, that's good) to a french onion soup confit (really good), there's something for everyone. Well, except the lactose intolerant. Price wise, hitting around $8 for savory options. Worth it though.

The worst customer service ever! I used to be an avid fan and go to it wherever they were located in the SFV (pretty much every week), but their customer service stinks. They don't care about their fan base, and never are clear about their promotions (i.e. their supposed/mystery gift cards during the holidays), their exact location, nor whether or not the location they're at is a closed event. So you end up wasting gas and time to a place they are not clear about. Ok, so their sandwiches are pretty darn yummy. My favorite was the Chicken and Waffle Melt. It used to be awesome... crispy, warm breaded chicken, cheddar, sandwiched between 2 waffles, with a choice of gravy or maple syrup on the side. The chicken even used to have a little kick to it. But the last time I had it, the kick was gone, the sandwich got smaller, the price stayed the same, and then they started charging tax. Sometimes the waffles weren't even their normal square shape, and they would give you an even smaller ridiculous oval shaped waffles... in which you open it up to think, "F^CK! I just spent $10.00 on THIS!?!?!" It was a big disappointment, they won't even tell you that it will not look like the picture, you have to order it and then suffer the consequences and just stare at it. My overall review to you all is to steer clear of this truck. Save your money and move on to the next truck. Their food may be good, but in the end, you'll just end up disappointed in yourself for ordering it and in the amount/size of your order.

I cannot help smiling when I pronounce "The Grilled Cheese Truck". However I must admit I have always liked the idea of the food coming to find you rather than you going for a hunt. Sick, is it not? I recommend the grilled cheese sandwiches although the freshness is an issue.

They put mac & cheese IN A SANDWICH!! How do they do it? I suspect sorcery, but who cares? It's awesome!

Pay by cash not by credit card. If you pay by credit card they will force you into tipping them.

Always a treat when this truck comes to my area. The grilled cheeses are always cooked perfectly, and they have a great selection of ingredients to put inside your grilled cheeses. I've recommended the Grilled Cheese Truck to many of my friends, and I try to follow the truck around where it goes :)

I don't get all the fuzz. I didn't really see anything on menu that jumped out and end up getting the rib melt. Didn't really like it. I was expecting to see Tuna melt here, which I love, but no luck. Will not eat there again.
