I came to this restaurant hungry for a cubano sandwich. I ordered one and paid for it. This is why I hate paying for stuff before I get it. They man behind the counter took my money and as soon as the transaction was complete turned around and started talking with his buddy in the kitchen. While they laughed and talked in their native tongue ( completely alienating me) I noticed some pretty questionable sanitation practices. So while they are laughing and alienating me, I am sitting there wondering what the heck they are doing to my sandwich. Got a refund and I will not be returning. Do not go here! spend your money somewhere else.

Best cuban sandwich and plantains I've found in the Boulder area. Has all the decor details of a good cuban sandwich shop too, including pineapple coconut soda and sangria. Great outdoor lunch counter to sit at in nice weather - just wish the view was better.

Well, I am home sick from work after eating hear yesterday. I got a cubano and it was cold. Cheese wasnt melted and was 3 or 4 slices thick. Was more greasy than McDonalds and tasted about as bad.

AWEFUL! bread was stale and dry, cheese was not melted pickles where slimy, fried steak was like fried cobwebs. Made me sick. kitchen was visible from front appeared filthy, especially the group of cooks, who where eyeballing customers as they ordered, while standing around leaning on walls. Overall the worst eating experience I have had in boulder, and that is saying something.

Cafe con leche is great. I bought a brick of the coffee as well. Love the pescado sandwich. Hate coleslaw but that spicy citrus slaw is the bomb. And have to get a side of garlic string fries.

Yum. Coming back from a week in Miami I can honestly say this is authentic style Cuban and the pork is better. Sandwiches are excellent and the plates are great if you prefer a fork. The plantains are amazing. Cafe con leche was good, but that's one thing I found better in Miami. They use authentic espresso, it's just not as sweet.
