that's super interesting about Quartz Composer. as a current VJ it saddens me that it seems like Quartz support is being phased out with latest versions of OSX

hopefully you do a followup where you mention The Singularity as a prospective option for living forever. actually if you just made a whole video about The Singularity that would be super rad

GREAT video! but need to ask, why the super extra widescreen? any more widescreen and my eyes are going to turn Asian from squinting

really looking forward to how you do lights & visuals for hip hop. It's something I struggle with coming from the EDM world

you also do not need to use the On/Off midi button on the DJM900. it sends MIDI Clock data by default. The On/Off is only for mapping buttons, knobs & faders

+D-Squared I know this because I've tested it by using the MIDI port on the back of the DJM900 to a MIDI to USB cable to my macbook to sync my visual software bpm to the djm900. it sends the bpm automatically without me having to walk up to the mixer every night & pressing the on/off button

That's the most headroom I've ever seen a DJ leave on a mixer. bravo

as someone who uses neither program, I feel like I'd enjoy hearing & playing with Serato's FX more. tho it appears you can do more manipulation and configuring of the FX and chains in Traktor

i believe ill.Gates was one of the first people to discover this and named it "128's" because you can load up to 128 samples in one drum rack slot
