We have had outstanding meals here with service to match. A bit off the beaten path, in a good way. Definitely worth seeking out. Superb cocktails as well. I look forward to my next visit.

Gautreau's is somewhat hidden in a residential neighborhood in uptown New Orleans. You might miss it if you don't keep an eye out when walking down Soniat St. It's a relatively small, one room dining room, but the ambiance is cozy (it almost has a supper club feeling to it). The food is incredible – in fact, I have a hard time deciding what to order when I go because everything sounds delicious. Overall, a stellar dining experience.

Worst Dining experience In New Orleans yet. It was the LOUDEST restaurant I have ever been in, we left as quick as we could. Aweful. We are going to find somewhere else for coffee and dessert. Did I mention it was LOUD!

This is one of my favorite places to dine in the country and in my neighborhood. Sue does a great job with the menu and is constantly innovating. Patrick runs the front like a seasoned pro. If you want to dine at the best place in New Orleans then this might be it.

From the moment you view this building from the street, you know you're in for a treat. Great service, remarkable food...perfect portions. Patrick, rebecca and chef sue outdid themselves. You've missed the best of new orleans if you missed this one.

Worst Dining experience In New Orleans yet. If you like to get dressed up, sit with snobs, eat bland expesive food, have horrible service, and leave with a headache because of the noise; this is the place for you!
