New beta with Arc gives me massive FCs when I want to open the configuration UI. As soon as I select Arc and go out of the config UI I can't get back in because of FC.

One other thing to mention: I like the Arc very much but I would not use it in the current state because it's uncomfortable to use for me. When I make the gesture I'd like to already have my thumb on the top most app. In the current version I have to move my thumb up a bit to reach the first app.

Nevertheless, you're still doing excellent work +Mohammad Adib !

Okay, so here is my feedback for project pringles after the first look.

- look and feel is great
- connected panel is a good idea
- description & set on boot is nice, but:
- long press on menu items doesn't feel natural or intuitive as the android system doesn't feature this action on menu items
- there is no visual indicator for items where long press actually does something
- description & set on boot don't belong to each other, as description is for "noobs" and set on boot is for "pros" and they have no dependency on each other

=> I would either put both description and set on boot in the same single press panel where you set the actual option or just put set on boot there and let the description reside in the long press menu.
Personally I would prefer removing long press because of the missing visual indicator I mentioned above.

I'm looking forward to what's coming up next in project pringles :-)

Hey guys, iirc there is a file somewhere where I can configure double tap to wake  etc support on/off. Can someone tell me where to find it? :-)

+Lennon Barnes  You made the best advertisement & convincing statement I've ever read. Forward that to the Gravity Screen dev, I bet he'll like it & add it somewhere. You've convinced me, I'm going to try it. +Maik Thomalla  Sorry for hijacking your thread talking about other things than you asked, heh.

Hi all,

I just recently came back to my my Nexus 4 because my daily driver is defective. Just one question: Has there been a fix for msm_hsic_host wakelock in the meantime?

On r203, when I am connected to a WLAN, the N4 is in deep sleep for incredible 95%, but I still get 20% wakelock just from msmstuff when i am not.

Is that normal?

Thank you for your replies, but that's not answering my question.

I now it has to wake up sometimes. But on WLAN, it's awake for just 5% of total time while on 3G it's awake for 20%. I know syncing needs more time on 3G, but not 4 times as much as on WLAN.

+Matt Sokolinski You seem to have misread my post. That wakelock does NOT appear on WLAN. It is completely 2G/3G-specific.

And this wakelock is also device specific as I don't have it on Galaxy Nexus or Nexus 5. I remember several attempts from developers to fix this. I just hoped someone has been able to reduce thsi wakelock in the meantime.

+Francisco Franco It just came to my mind that on my Galaxy Nexus I used to undervolt each CPU frequency by about 10%.

In current FKU, the buttons let me go 25mV up or down, but wouldn't 1% steps make more sense? For example most Nexus 5s crash on -75mV, but that is because the lower frequencies can't handle it. The higher ones can, though.

I know I can type those values in manually, it's just a suggestion for those convenience buttons.

+Mohammad Adib Any chance we will be given the freedom to choose on which side in Switchr Flow the home option appears? Sorry for suggesting the same thing a second time, but I didn't get a reply last time :-)

Couldn't it work like the "Screen Edge" option, giving 3 options in a popup like "Left, Right, Off" or something like that?

+Mohammad Adib I would love to be able to decide on which side in Switchr Flow the home option resides.

ATM, I trigger it from the left edge and home option is the left most item. If it was on the far right, I could go back to home with just a swipe from the left edge to the right edge.

Precondition: Switchr Flow active, home option active, live task switching active. Trigger is on the left. I am on the home screen.

Bug: When I quickly activate Switchr Flow now and go to the right most app and quickly back to home on the far left and release, I'm not sent to the home screen but stay in some app which was on the way.

I don't think it is related to home screen option but it's the easiest to replicate. Could also be a performance issue, but at least I'm on a Nexus 4.

It's not much of a bummer, but nevertheless :-)
