These guys are quite interesting.

So, any takes on Google's Nexus 7 as a truly viable tablet or does one have to pay the price of an iPad for that luxury?

Not usually a fan of bling, but some pretty cool Android goodies here.

Although I am really liking Google Drive, they need to do some tuning. When sync is running, eats up a lot of processor usage. Apparently many are seeing this same performance hit. Short-term solution of turning off sync until you need it is acceptable for now, but definitely not a workable long-term solution. Keep working on this Google!

In effect as part of an innovation team, according to my own director, if I am not pissing off my mgmt at least a few times a month, I'm not doing my job. +Philip Auerswald really articulates this well! Hope to see more like this.

Certainly looks like Toshiba is trying to become a real player in the tablet market. Are they Thriving...should we be Excited...is 13 something to really get Excited about or just plain unlucky or akin to a clunky oversized shoe?

Stumbled across this after Googling "can you be a leader without being a manager" and it is rather succinct in its comparison. One thing I would add (pretty obvious to many of you I am sure) is that it is much more difficult to be and maintain a "leadership" role if you are not a manager...at least in current biz culture.

Just returned from shopping at our local co-op. Seeing more and more QR codes popping up on produce and fresh goods. Some of these codes will actually show the "heritage or journey" of your food, an increasingly important aspect of what we consume. Nice use of tech.

Just saw this commercial for the first time. Entertaining albeit a bit disconcerting.

I know for many, it is iPad or noPad, but as one who doesn't own any Apple other than an iPod (which I actually do like), it is my hope to see some contenders that make the tablet space a place for more than just the iPad. The Toshiba Excite 10 LE looks like a formidable entry...time will tell, I guess. I confess I am a Toshiba fan from way back and actually was even intrigued by the Excite's clunky but feature-rich predecessor, the Thrive. Curious, with the increasing choices of tablets and particularly some of the latest entries, and notwithstanding iPad 3's "entering the room", what "non-iPad" tablets do you think have a chance of at least holding their own in this space? Some of you will perhaps say none, but I would hope to see at least a few possibilities.
