Looking back on the classic DC Comics mini-series Kingdom Come and it's impact on Wonder Woman.

Usually, when this story is discussed, it's in relation to Superman or the DC universe as a whole, but it has come to define Wonder Woman in many ways--for better or worse--even though many seem to take the wrong message from her role.
Some call it great because she's bad-ass and aggressive, while others point out she's acting out of character.

Diana does act out of character in the story...but I'd argue that's the point.

However a lot of creators--as tends to happen with seminal works--only saw the surface elements and didn't consider what was actually happening with her or why.
And that misconception/misinterpretation of her character has lad long-lasting ramifications.

I really did enjoy Drag Me To Hell, but I've never been fond of the ending.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I wanted a happy ending, but something about Christine ending up dragged to hell after all the shit she went through felt a little flat to me--especially since I didn't really buy into the movie's sense of karma that she deserved it for turning down Mrs. Ganush's extension.

What I would've preferred is the coin switch-up with Justin Long actually counting as passing the curse, and HE ended up getting dragged to hell. The last shot of the movie would be Christine getting carted off to some insane asylum.

Maybe just me, but I think that'd be a more appropriate (and f**ked up) ending.
