I've had this issue with Google Now on the phone... I have various Google accounts for various purposes, but the one that gets emails relevant to, say, buying movie tickets goes into one "more public" account that also gets newsletters and mailing list emails, along with a bunch of other spam. Google Now never captures it since I attached my "friends and family (and G+)" identity to Now.

My wife actually has the same issue you describe. I've used the Gmail address+<something> trick (http://lifehacker.com/144397/instant-disposable-gmail-addresses) to create multiple addresses that I can filter on later.

Of course, it's all the one account so I have other issues. ;)

Anyway... When she first got her S3 she was saying the Google Now wasn't working for some travel arrangements and it turned out that the issue was her "primary" identity wasn't the address that got the airline reservation confirmations.

If we're allowed to research speech (a Constitutionally protected right), banning gun violence research is simply about sticking our collective head in the sand for fear of what we might hear.

Why we don't even get research about gun violence

The debate continues about doing research about gun violence:

"Gun violence is not a disease, and lawful gun ownership is not a disease. It is a constitutionally protected, individual right."  (Iowa Senator Charles Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee)

In case you didn't already know...

"Democrats received 1.4 million more votes for the House of Representatives, yet Republicans won control of the House by a 234 to 201 margin. This is only the second such reversal since World War II."

Bummer, but it really makes sense. Perhaps not giving mega-bulk-senders a super sweet deal might help raise revenue?
