I went to Mimosa this past week for the first time because I received a gift certificate. Based on my first experience I will not be back. First, I had a Mimosa pedicure ($55) which was supposed to be done in the VIP room and was not. Overall, I thought the girl did a good job on the pedicure but I don’t think it was worth $55. I also had the Mimosa manicure ($35) done by another girl who was extremely unprofessional and rude. As soon as I sat down the girl doing my pedicure told the girl doing the manicure that she looked fat. So the girl told her to f**k off. I was shocked by the language they were using in front of customers. I also paid an additional $10 for Shellec which started to chip off the next day. Shellec is supposed to last a couple of weeks without chipping. The quality of my manicure was poor and was definitely not worth what they are charging. She did not apply the coats of nail polish evenly. Some of my nails look like a dark pink while others look very light. Also during my manicure she applied some green cream to my arms which she got all over the black shirt I was wearing and on my black purse. At one point this girls asked why I had my eyes closed and responded that I was trying to relax and she said oh is that why you look so blah! . They are known for their complimentary mimosa while being serviced but I was never offered anything to drink the whole time I was there. Overall, I was very disappointed with this place and will not be back. You think if you spent $100 on manicure and pedicure you would get quality work in return. I think I will stick with the little nail shop around the corner from my house that if half the price and better work. Don’t waste your time or money!!!

I went for the second time with my parents, and Lucy made sure that my parents and I were treated right this time. There is a change in personnel, and it is so much better. I got the best massage; however, you need to tell them if you like soft massage or a Swedish massage? Also, we got a full spa pedi/mani, it was wonderful. What an improvement!! Keep it up Lucy!! We will all be back.

I love this place. I've been coming here for 2 years now. Everyone is so nice to you they make you feel welcome. Lucy did my permanent eyebrow and I just love it. Everyone complement me on it. People tell me it looks natural they can't even tell they are tattoo on. Lynn is my nail tech .. she is a wonderful caring person. My nails look so beautiful and they last long they do not lift. Ask for her and you will love her work you won't be disappointed.

i've been there many times for pedicure and recently i start to get massage too. At very first time it was great as i remember the therapist was a pretty & tall girl, very professional, good technique; but few times after that they let some different woman give me sloppy back rub and i don't want to pay that much money for just a big disappointment. I think not all of them have massage license nor well trained..next time if i decide to go back there i will ask for that girl or someone with license. The owner shouldn't be too greedy let the nail tech do massage and risk her business

i went in for a much needed R and R at mimosa spa since it was close to where i was staying in Katy, TX. I had a full body wrap and a facial. the massage for the full body wrap was good and the wrap was on for about 10 mins. the facial on the other hand is the cause of my grouse. the girl performed a half-hearted attempt at sorting out my acne ridden face. she performed no blackhead extractions nor white head removals. since the people working there did not understand english, it was difficult to explain what i required.

First time visiting Mimosa Spa and Nails. I went for a 1 hour massage and a paradise pedicure. I personally felt that the paradise pedicure was way over priced ($50) for what you got - I think the deluxe pedicure ($30) would have been a much better value. Oh well, I will know for next time. The massage was wonderful. Great price and she even used hot stones during my Swedish massage. The massage rooms were very clean and smelled nice. I have been to massage envy and other massage chains, but I found the massage I got at Mimosa Spa and Nails to be just as good. She actually spent a whole hour on the massage and the price was great. Very comfortable massage beds (very, very comfortable). I think I will try the facial next time. Be sure to go to their website and print out coupons. Also, there is a young girl there (not sure of her name) who does amazing nail art!! I showed her a picture on my phone of nail art with shooting stars and she did it perfectly. I live in Richmond, but I would say this place is worth the drive. Bring a book because they don't have tvs going like some nail spas have (very relaxing environment to read in). Also, they have water to drink or mimosas (you can get just the orange juice if you want). You may have to ask for a beverage, but don't be shy - they are all very nice!!
